About the Position: Serves a Supply Systems Analyst for the Materiel Management Department at Naval Health Clinic Annapolis and for five additional Branch Health Clinics (BHCs). They are BHC Bancroft Hall, located at the United States Naval Academy; BHC Earle, NJ; BHC Lakehurst, NJ; BHC Philadelphia; PA; and BHC Mechanicsburg, PA.

Duties

keep the department head informed of progress and of potentially controversial matters and issues that may have serious implications. Verifying correct source of supply and pricing accuracy. Serve as the sole administrator for the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support Generate management data reports (daily/ monthly / quarterly/ annually) in order to identify problem areas and detect trends. Verify invoice accuracy against orders for supplies and services. Coordinate contact with vendors and departmental Supply Representatives regarding the payment of invoices and receipt of supplies or services.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 3 security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Database Management SystemsOrganizational AwarenessOrganizational Performance Analysis Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-08).
