You will serve as the HAMERSOW Mission Planning Team Lead and Network Enabled Weapons University Lead of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will lead the HAMERSOW TPO mission planning test team for all weapon Mission Planning tasks related to integration of Harpoon, SLAM ER and JSOW on USN and FMS platforms.
You will be responsible for testing, certifying, and reporting on JMPS MPE deliveries for Harpoon, SLAM ER and JSOW weapons changes and regression testing for UPC and JMPS framework updates.
You will provide input to statements of work that relate to mission planning to fix anomalies encountered during testing or as reported by the Fleet.
You will be responsible for updates to training material (aka Smartpacks) to reflect the latest software and hardware updates.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 671, proficiency level intermediate. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Extensive experience with using, testing, and certifying Joint Mission Plan Systems; 2) Training a fleet to use Network Enabled Weapons (NEW); 3) Troubleshooting complex mission planning issues; 4) Utilizing COMSEC procedures and equipment, including Simple Key Loader (SKL) and intermediary application (iAPP); 5) Experience pertaining to Link-16 initialization and crypto information required for Network Enabled Weapons (NEW) mission planning.
