The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC) serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems which are in use by U.S. service members around the world.

Duties

Utilize logistics experience to manage, direct, and supervise an interdisciplinary professional staff engaged in developing ammunition logistics capabilities focused on operational to tactical ammunition supply chain management software and systems. Using an agile development methodology, in-transit visibility, weapon system data generation and collection, and improved ammunition distribution concepts in contested environments. Continuously improves methodology for achieving goals and objectives with maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction. Supervises a group or organizational segment consisting of business or technical personnel and support staff. Plans, prioritizes, and schedules work, adjusting for changes in resources, customer needs, and other requirements.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Business travel is required up to 25%.
• This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
• Selectee must meet position requirements for Advanced level for Life Cycle Logistics within 48 months of entrance on duty.

• Critical Acquisition Position- Selectee must execute, as condition of appointment, a written agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three years.

Be DAWIA certified at the highest level for the Functional Area of the position, within their specified grace period, with the exception of Program Management (PM).
