You will serve as a DATA ANALYST in the Recruit Training Regiment of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT SAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will prepare and submit statistical reports on Recruit Training to the Commanding Officer to increase data driven decision making.
You will independently manage, coordinate and administer all analysis data correlated to Recruit Training.
You will ensure that the means of data collection used for analysis and assessment are accurate and are standard across all aspects of Recruit Training.
You will record all collection of data as well as the summary and decisions made on said data in order to provide historical reference with the proper authority and classification.
You will present complex briefs to civilian and military personnel of all grades.
You will have knowledge of Department of Defense, Navy and Marine Corps assessment policies and procedures.
You will have comprehensive knowledge of SharePoint, Marine Corps Training Information Management System, and other systems used to track and document Recruit Training.
You will have knowledge of recent and developed precedence in data management, including programs and methods for collection and analysis.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Collecting data, manipulating data and presenting the findings to resolve issues and problems with an organization's training in order to increase the efficiency of the organization.

Education
Graduate Education: Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university in the amounts shown below meets the requirements for the position. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
LL.M., if related
or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
