This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Child Support Services, located in Washington, District of Columbia.

Duties
This position will provide support in conducting a variety of analytical assessments, personnel and resource oversight, and administrative work that support the management and operations of the child support services program.
This is a career ladder position with growth potential to the Management Analyst, GS-0343-12 grade level. Differences in grade level are based on the knowledge and proficiency acquired to perform the work, nature of assignments, and level of responsibility.
The duties and responsibilities of this position include:
Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to compile, analyze, evaluate and summarize data, identify problems, analyze alternatives, draw conclusions, and recommend solutions to issues concerning program operations.
Facilitating and coordinating with others in the application of analytical techniques to compile information and assess administrative procedures within the office.
Communicating, both verbally and in writing, when delivering reports and presentations, identifying problems, and presenting recommendations.

Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Minimum Qualification requirements as noted below.
GS-09: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing at least (3) of the (4) duties listed below:
Working knowledge of applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify and resolve administrative issues.
Participating in projects that have an impact on the organization in such areas as process improvement, administrative services, staffing, and reporting.
Gathering and organizing information to analyze changes in the plans and/or operations of an organization.
Collaborating in compiling written reports and/or developing oral presentations.
OR a Master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Master's degree; OR LL.B or J.D., if related. (Must submit transcripts).
OR a combination of the required experience and education for this grade level that when combined, equals 100% of the total requirement. (Must submit transcripts).

Time-in-Grade Requirement: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet "time-in-grade" requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying). You must include an SF-50 (you may need to submit more than one) that supports meeting this requirement with your application package.
