This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Program Management Office of the Chief Administrative Office (N), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
A successful candidate in the Management Analyst position will serve as a senior analyst and project manager responsible for planning, organizing, conducting, and leading projects, studies, and other initiatives.
Duties
As a Management Analyst, you will:
Plan, organize, and lead or conduct projects, studies, and analyses of considerable scope and depth critical to the resolution of organizational effectiveness issues, including detailed analyses of existing and proposed processes, procedures, organizational structures, staffing, administrative methods, and supervisory and management practices.
Research and implement new and improved methods and procedures to resolve issues within BPA.
Analyze and recommend methods for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of programs and procedures through process modification and application of evolving technology.
Guide and participate in the development and implementation of business metrics, plans and processes, including those related to established business targets and objectives.
Perform a full range of project management functions for assigned projects, studies and analyses.
Provide authoritative advice, counsel and guidance to BPA management, staff and senior executives.
Provide updates and reports on contractor performance to CAO management.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience is defined as experience in the development and oversight of program budgets and financial control functions, including the preparation of proposed plans and schedules, and providing advice or briefings to management and staff on assigned projects.
