This position is located in Department of Energy (DOE), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), Chief Workforce and Strategy Office (D), Technology Innovation and Strategy Office (DS), Internal Operations (DSO).
This position is responsible for planning, supervising, and leading programs, systems, and work processes that are necessary to perform the critical mission and support activities required of the organization supervised.
Duties
As a Supervisory Management Analyst (Internal Operations Manager), you will:
Participate with the Chief Workforce and Strategy Office and Deputy in planning, implementing, and evaluating the entire D program, including defining requirements, monitoring performance, and providing oversight of contractor activities when necessary.
Ensure all strategy, policies, and operations are fully integrated and coordinated both internally among all D organizational elements and with other BPA programs and activities.
Design, plan, coordinate, oversee and conduct comprehensive studies and analyses to identify and propose to managers and other senior management solutions to broad, complex situations throughout D and all organizations within BPA.
Evaluate and make recommendations concerning overall plans and proposals for major BPA, DOE, and interagency projects and implementing national level guidance in standards, guidelines, or policies for programs impacting D program elements.
Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
Organize, create and maintain a cost-consciousness, market-driven, and results-oriented atmosphere that is characterized by innovation, customer focus, continuous improvement, and competitive orientation.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1) Applying analytical methods and techniques for the assessment and improvement of complex management processes and systems; 2) leading projects, studies, and other initiatives to improve the efficiency of programs, systems, and processes; (3) formulating and implementing policies, strategies, and practices related to internal operations of the organization.
