Duties

As a Management and Program Analyst, at the full performance you will perform the following duties: Directing, implementing, coordinating. and overseeing a major segment of a department-wide mission and/or administrative program. Developing and evaluating policies in assigned program areas. Planning, organizing, and directing teamwork, and persuades or negotiates effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations where the proposals involve substantial department resources, require extensive changes in established procedures, or may conflict with the desires of the activities under study. Serving as a consultant and advisor to management as they develop plans for programs, operations, objectives, policies, and procedures, i.e., support governmental and non-governmental working groups and stakeholder sessions. Representing the organization at meetings and conferences as directed by supervisor.

  • Probationary Period: This is a full-time permanent position (Career/Career-Conditional appointment). Upon appointment to this position, you may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.

You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Performing a variety of administrative and strategic duties. Supporting special projects that aid in the evaluation of business process enhancements. Assisting with the planning of studies which lead to the implementation of best practices. Analyzing studies/surveys results to identify solutions to enhance operational procedures. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
