You will serve as a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST in the Director, Maritime Headquarters, Total Force Management, HQ Command Services, of U.S. Pacific Fleet (USPACFLT) Headquarters Staff (HQ).
Duties
You will serve as the Defense Travel System (DTS) liaison for USPACFLT HQ UICs.
You will serve as the Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) for the Defense Travel System for HQ UICs.
You will manage day to day operations of the travel program and provide support in compliance with the DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), DoD Financial Management Regulations (DODFMR) and Govt. Travel Charge Cards (GTCC) instructions.
You will train DTS travelers, users, Authorizing Officials, Certifying Officials, and Reviewing Officials on DTS use.
You will serve as the HQ staff Customer Service Representative (CSR) for the Navy Time and Attendance system.
You will promulgate command specific time and attendance policy and manage administrative guidelines for processing time and attendance transactions as defined by BSO Fleet policy/guidance.
You will troubleshoot system deficiencies and functional oversights that impact the timekeeping system and forward to Fleet BSO for guidance/action.
You will provide assistance to Staff Services to include preparing correspondence, training, reports or slides for presentations and briefings to higher level managers.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising and instructing on administrative policies and procedures in such areas as Joint Travel Regulations, DoD Financial Management Regulations (FMR), Defense Travel System, Government Travel Card Program, and Time and Attendance in order to facilitate productivity and efficiency of program operations.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree. The major study of such education is in public administration, business administration, industrial engineering, industrial management, or other administrative or management fields related to the position to be filled.

A master's degree or equivalent graduate degree. The major study of such education is in public administration, business administration, industrial engineering, industrial management, or other administrative or management fields related to the position to be filled.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
