About the Position: The incumbent will serve as the G-54 Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations Specialist under the direction of the G-54 IJSTO Manager (Divsion Chief) at PSFB, CO. The incumbent will serve as the principal action officer for planning and development of IJSTO Special Access Program (SAP) and Alternative Compensatory Control Measure (ACCM) requirements, organizational structure, missions and functions, and operational conduct to support operations.

Duties

Provide technical and analytical principles in the preparation of IJSTO Special Access Program (SAP) plans, proposed doctrine, employment concepts, and conduct of studies, as required. Develop IJSTO SAP and Alternative Compensatory Control Measure (ACCM) requirements, organizational structure, missions and functions, and operational conduct to support planning processes and operations. Provide administration of IJSTO SAPs and ACCM activities. Coordinate requisite documentation to conduct Special Technical Operations (STO) indoctrinations, initial briefings, and debriefings. Oversee the security, management, and maintenance of all IJSTO SAP and ACCM documentation, classification, and message traffic. Prepare positions for requirement analyses, demonstration of space, missile defense, ACCM, and STO, and support capabilities which adapt space and information systems. Deliver integration necessary to provide technical space and missile defense solutions that meet the practical requirements of operations. Provide space control technical analytical support for plans, operations, exercises, and capability development. Utilize software to provide space control planning and physics-based analytics.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
  • In accordance with AR 690-11, this position has been designated as “Key” and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively.
