Serves as a Management and Program Analyst for the NIST Executive Secretariat team.

Duties
Serves as a Management and Program Analyst for the NIST Executive Secretariat team.
- Manages the Executive Correspondence System (ECS)
- analyze all CHIPS incoming deliverables within NIST flowing from the CHIPS Program Office and CHIPS R&D Office, the Department of Commerce, the White House, Congress, other bureaus and program offices, other Federal or state agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
- Provide direction across organizational units in determining information needs, urgency, and deadlines of correspondence through analysis of CHIPS program metrics though the ECS system.
- Identify, recommend, and demonstrate effective methods and techniques for staff to use in improving information flow and assignments for day-to-day operations.
- Recommend specific approaches tailored to the nature of the information and the targeted audience(s).
- Analyzing organizational specific correspondence issues to identify and anticipate needs.
- Identifying and carrying out internal communication and planning requirements needed to support NIST leadership.
- Review, analyze, and develop briefings and memorandum on a variety of administrative and programmatic matters specifically for the NIST Director.

Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 (ZA-I for NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience reviewing administrative documents; experience researching and resolving customer issues; and experience using an automated tracking system.
OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related.
NOTE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.
