This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Assistant Commandant for C5ISC, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (CSISC), C5ISC Infrastructure Services Division (ISD), Server and Cloud Branch (SVR) located in Kearneysville, WV.
Duties
You will serve as a IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN-INFOSEC) and be responsible for developing methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts, providing ongoing optimization and problem-solving support, and acting as a primary stakeholder in the underlying information technology (IT) operational processes and functions that support the service, provide direction and monitor all significant activities so the service is delivered successfully.
Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience must include the following:
Overseeing and performing duties associated with Project/Program Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF) and System Engineering Life Cycle involving cost, schedule and performance.
Facilitating open communications with multiple IT project stakeholders, developing relationships, working across regional boundaries and department lines.
Leading integrated teams of Government/ Contractor Staff, Engineers and technicians; resolving complex IT challenges to accomplish program/project scope and goals.
Overseeing and tracking IT project integrated master schedules, key milestones, and critical paths through project completion.
Developing methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts related to IT projects.
Developing requirements for contract performance work statements and statement of objectives for systems, network, performance, or cybersecurity.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirement, you must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
