Organizational Location: These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, in Fairfax, Virginia and Washington, District of Columbia.
These are non-bargaining unit positions.

Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst (Senior Program Advisor), you will perform the following duties:
Direct, implement, coordinate and/or oversee a variety of management programs impacting Homeland Security Investigations (HSI);
Provide direct support to headquarters management staff in all matters relating to national law enforcement programs to meet mission requirements;
Plan, develop and coordinate planning management through briefings, presentations and conferences for executive management; and
Develop policies, issuances and directives.

You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
Serving as an expert analyst and/or advisor to executive management on a major mission or administrative program and when representing DHS at meetings and conferences;
Determining the applicability and effect of new or proposed legislation, executive orders, agency directives, and other agency decisions on organizational operations, managerial programs and requirements;
Directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a major segment of an agency-wide or department-wide program;
Coordinating activities of staff; advise and provide analytical support on problem definitions, planning methodologies, policies and procedures; and
Developing and coordinating planning management through briefings, presentations and conferences for executive management.
