GS11: $75,640 - $98,330
GS12: $90,662 - $117,856
Duties
You will manage and be resident Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the official General Ledger and Financial Feeder systems master data loads, mapping, cleansing and validation thereof.
You will participate in integration and feeder system deep dives and testing and provide representation at working sessions and any other meetings, preparing and validating reports, and provide training sessions as needed.
You will provide general administrative management (GAM) of the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) for COMPACFLT headquarters, understanding the roles being created and financial impacts of each.
You will collaborate to ensure proper Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC) are current and accurate as they impact interface partnering systems.
You will provide DoDAAC management via the UMS system for COMPACFLT DoDAACs. Work will require collaboration with COMPACFLT Manpower (N12), NAVSUP WSS, and subordinate units as needed to ensure timely updates aligning to interface partnering systems.
You will maintain proficiency in current software used by COMPACFLT to include but is not limited to Microsoft Suite of products, Flank Speed Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
You will review and respond to incoming trouble tickets, providing guidance to system users, and elevating issues requiring higher level intervention.

- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying accounting, budgeting, and resource management practices to review financial transactions, analyze financial regulations and/or directives, and interpret financial reports to provide guidance for supporting the organization's financial operations.
FOR GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing finance and accounting data or reports to reconcile day-to-day accounts, identify accounting discrepancies, and recommend solutions for ensuring compliance with federal laws.

Education
FOR GS-11 ONLY:
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to Ph.D. degree,
OR
LL.M., if related
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
