Duties

Come join our team! The selected candidate will operate within the Boulder Badge Office.
At the ZS-III you will be responsible for the following duties:
The chosen candidate will have access to various software systems and database applications. Candidate must maintain facility badging system while creating new security procedures.
Provide administrative support for the Boulder Badge Office by handling the creation and issuance of PIV, PIV-I, or Site badges and responding to customer and employee inquiries by providing guidance on the HSPD-12 process through verbal, written, and in-person interactions.
Serves as a Registrar, Activator, and Site Manager within the US Access system for PIV Card Issuance Facility, for example: enroll & issue badges, verification, confirming PII, photography, badge management.
At the ZS-IV you will be responsible for the following duties:

Provide additional office support such as: purchase card duties, time keeping responsibilities, and inventory control.
Acts as the organization's administrative point of contact and provides guidance on the HSPD-12 process.

Qualifications
ZS-III:
To qualify for this position at the ZS-III, applicants must have 52 weeks (1 year) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-4 grade level (ZS-II at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as: experience utilizing administrative/clerical skill and automated systems to, review correspondence and official documents for procedural and grammatical accuracy, respond to non-technical correspondence, maintain an office filing system, compile and enter information into, and retrieve information from various automated programs.
OR 4 years above high school
OR a combination of education and experience
ZS-IV:
To qualify for this position at the ZS-IV, applicants must have 52 weeks (1 year) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-6 grade level (ZS-III at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as: Experienced with writing and drafting standard official documents, experienced in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint or equivalent, experienced in organizational procedures and techniques, experience handling classified information and reporting incidents.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
