You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of SURFACE FLEET - SHIP CONTROL SYSTEMS (SCS) of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.
This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.
Duties
You will leverage associated stakeholder relationships to lead team efforts for designated system and associated ship classes.
You will develop, prepare and promulgates policies and procedures requisite to effect implementation of logistic requirements.
You will assess both technical performance requirements, life cycle cost, and integrated logistics products.
You will develop and administer strategic Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans, goals, and objectives.
You will manage resources including labor, materials, contracts, and industrial support.
You will prepare preliminary program budgets to identify work year projections.
You will develop reports and briefs describing objectives, procedures, and results of the new or improved developments, concepts, and/or techniques in support of logistics products.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-02 (GS-11) or grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing logistical support for ship or submarine combat systems including Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to ensure successful execution of projects.
