You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Weapons & Energetics Safety & Operations Division of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will analyze data, evaluate and interpret the findings, develop constructive conclusions and recommendation as a member of the Earthquake Recovery Integrated Product Team Acquisition Project Management effort.
You will initiate acquisition decisions on research findings supporting the Earthquake Integrated Product Team, Energetics Enterprise Division, Project Managers, and engineers in defining and meeting resource needs.
You will be responsible for conducting market research, acquisition strategy and planning for a variety of procurement requirements.
You will be responsible for specific project and customer requirements as directed, and will provide weekly progress and status updates to the Team Lead using the best method such as MS Project or MS Excel depending on depth of needs.
You will provide consistent project management functions for major acquisitions including regular meeting attendance, project reports, budget tracking and reporting, facilitating communication between branch and the technical customers.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the DA-01 (GS-04) pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Program Analyst. General experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; 2) Planning and organizing work; and 3) Communicating effectively orally and in writing.
