About the Position: This position provides clerical and administrative support primarily for the power plant office, performing a variety of clerical, administrative, budgetary, and purchasing functions in support of a project.

Duties

Prepare and submit all reports of operating data to the Project Manager's office. Ensure monthly credit card statement is correct including invoice from vendor. Implement procedures pertaining to files, mail, reports, correspondence, personnel, and other administrative activities.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has been determined by the Official Personnel Management (OPM) to warrant certification of the ability to type 40 words a minute (WPM).
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) up to 10% may be required.

OR Education: Successfully completed four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ClericalFinancial ManagementManages and Organizes Information Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-04).
