You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Program Executive Officer, Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS); the Deputy Commander, Undersea Technology (SEA 07) or Program Executive Officer, Attack Submarine (PEO SSN) of NAVSEA PMO. This is a Supervisory Lead Logistician/Product Support Manager position for a Team Submarine Program Office.
Duties
You will lead and supervise the planning, coordination, and/or evaluation of the product support actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program.
You will manage the package of support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of major weapon systems, subsystems, and components.
You will develop and implement comprehensive product support strategies integrating the separate functions of design to cost, Product Support analyses, maintenance planning, provisioning, sustainment, modernization, and readiness.
You will develop updates to manning documentation and plans.
You will perform and oversee training analyses to include requirements assessments for new/modified systems and the analysis and development of new/modified training devices.
You will demonstrate knowledge of Navy acquisition and submarine sustainment, to include regulations, policies, processes, budget management, Information Technology (IT) systems, and techniques for program analysis in support of US Fleet operations.
You will be experience with mission, roles, functions, organizational structures and operation of the DoD, Navy and organizations that govern, interface with, and influence IPS management processes, including contractors, fleet and field activities.
You will experience with the elements of Lifecycle Sustainment Planning, including Product Support Management; Supply Support; Packaging, Handling, Shipping and Transportation.
You will perform in the areas of program management, project management, Configuration Management, System Engineering, Supply
Chain, and Production Quality Management principles, policies, processes, and procedures that affect Logistics Management.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating or managing logistical resources for submarine systems or deep submergence systems and components.
