About the Position: Serve as the Supervisory Future Operations for US ARMY SPACE & MSL DEF CMD (USASMDC), DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF, G-3, INFORMATION OPERATIONS DIVISION, COLORADO SPRINGS, CO.

Duties

The incumbent directs and oversees the Future Operations Branch; serves as principal assistant and subject matter expert to the Chief, Operations Division. Provide administrative and policy direction concerning overall priorities and objectives for the Branch. First line supervisor performing a range of supervisory responsibilities. Incumbent is knowledgeable of Army Doctrine, Design and Operational concepts.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Drug Test required. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is used to assist agencies and employees to avoid conflicts between duties and financial interest.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG).
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
