About the Position: This position serves as a Logistics Management Specialist (OIB Requirements Program Specialist) for U.S. Army Material Command located in Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Duties

Provides planning, requirement determination, improvement, and reporting for assigned OIB logistics management programs within Industrial Operations Division (IOD). Provides recommendations and information to management within the Industrial Operations Branch, Division, and HQ AMC on matters related to assigned OIB programs. Acts as SME on the tools, platforms, and other logistics data-based solutions within OIB Enterprise that are specific to execution of the duties related to this position. Analyzes recurring OIB program execution trends and supports analytical exercises to research future improvements, including new policies, plans, procedures, and methods of execution. Develops and manages data-based common operating picture(COP) for analysis of current OIB metrics. Works with the Life Cycle Management Commands to provides management and oversight of the National Maintenance Program (NMP).

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
• This position requires obtaining current AMC data analytics certification within 24 months of being placed in position.
