You will serve as a Program Manager in the Mission Modules Program Office of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS.
Duties
You will act as Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Mission Package (MP) Principle Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) as needed, and accomplish strategic projects as assigned at the MCM Portfolio level.
You will be responsible for the MCM MP cost, schedule, performance reporting and contract activities, logistics, budget and personnel management for assigned
activities in any and or all phases of the acquisition life cycle.
You will procure various unmanned systems and sensors from multiple Acquisition Categories (ACAT) II programs.
You will implement fire control architecture for unmanned mine neutralizers, as well as implement increased mine-warfare capability in areas of tactics, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, AI/ML, and communications.
You will coordinate acquisition program requirements for an ACAT IC Program of Record to the Program Manager across Congressional interest, DoD, Navy, and
Industry, consulting functional experts both internally and externally.
You will oversee identification and interfaces with OPNAV requirements officers on resource requirements.
You will develop of strategies for program planning, budgeting and execution (PPBE).
You will approve budget inputs, including supporting justification.
You will provide advice and guidance, and render decisions on specific problems presented by subordinates.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing program activities or functions (e.g. contracting, resource allocation, strategic planning, risk assessments, budget planning, development and execution, problem resolution and reporting, or financial management) to meet or ensure compliance with project requirements for the design, development, sustainment, or maintenance of maritime mine warfare systems, subsystems, or components.
