Duties
Performs a full range of pre-award procurement actions that are well-defined, and well-precedented.
Develops milestones and acquisition plans and then determines method and type of solicitation.
Completes pre-award procurement actions that are complex in nature and where seasoned judgment is required to determine the method and
process to use for procurement.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and Maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Drug Testing Position.
- Requires 5% TDY travel.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Workforce position. The employee must meet DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to
the duties of the position. Level 1 certification.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying purchasing methods and principles to perform the scope of purchasing work such as negotiating and awarding bilateral purchase orders; experience making competitive or sole source acquisitions; and experience using price analysis techniques to evaluate prices or costs..This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07) NKII.
