About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Budget Analyst that works under the direction of the Assistant Director for Resource Management (ADRM), United States Army Criminal Investigation Division (USACID) who provides broad general direction on the scope and objectives of their assigned areas of responsibility, and the overall objectives of their organizations.
Duties
Plan, formulate, analyze, justify, review, and present requests for financial resources to advise the ADRM on program execution to support the worldwide criminal investigation mission.
Administer the budget within command priorities and ensure continuity with higher command budget/programs.
Responsible for budget development and reporting within the General Fund Enterprise Business System, the Army’s financial and accounting enterprise system essential to achieving audit readiness.
Establish and monitor financial and administrative controls for financial transactions for each staff element through liaison with senior leadership, staff, and review of reports and other written documentation.
Develop, implement, and approve internal controls for the accountability of funds and investigative financial documentation to support auditability.
Assess requirements for law enforcement equipment (such as communications, vehicles, and lights/sirens) to validate the consistency of their life cycle replacement plans with approved budgetary plans.
Exercise the complete range of supervisory and personnel management authorities and responsibilities in directing work of subordinate staff, and in the development of long-range goals and objectives.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements and minimum qualification requirements prescribed by OPM within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
