This position is shared between the Support Services Division and Division of Business Development. Incumbent shall be located in either Office but supports each Division regardless of physical location. The shared position performs a variety of administrative tasks associated with maintaining both Divisions. Work includes functions necessary for the management of an office and ranges from timekeeping, preparing travel orders/vouchers, to ordering and tracking equipment, supplies, and service.
Duties
Greets all incoming (internal and external) customers in a friendly, professional manner.
Receives requests and completes appropriate forms for building and parking access cards, bus cards, and keys.
Prepares daily outgoing mail and delivers to the maildrop at the COB.
Prepares, coordinates, and completes travel arrangements for Division Staff.
Serves as the official timekeeper for both Divisions and keeps track of time worked and leave used for each employee of the Division.
Manages the appointment and meeting schedules for both Divisions.
Receives requests for GSA fleet vehicles and records reservations.
Compiles, organizes, and tracks program data, which may include statistical information in support of the program operations.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Greets all incoming (internal and external) customers in a friendly, professional manner. Sorts and prepares incoming and outgoing mail for the Area Office. Prepares, coordinates, and completes travel arrangements for Division staff. Schedules meetings and tracks vehicle use, and conference room availability.

Successfully completed four (4) years of education beyond the high school level. Education is obtained from an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. (Must submit Transcripts)

A combination of education and experience when combined fully meet the minimum qualifications for this position. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience required. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify for the GS-05 grade level. (Must submit Transcripts)
GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Prepares ad hoc and reoccurring reports, forms, correspondence, and presentation materials which may include complex graphs, charts, and tabular material. Compiles, organizes and tracks program data which may include statistical information in support of the program operations. Serves as the official timekeeper. Gathers travel information and ensures travel authorizations and vouchers are processed timely by utilizing designated travel programs.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
