Duties
The position serves as a Supervisory IT Specialist for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Inspector General, Office of Information Technology. OIG conducts audits, investigations, and evaluations of major environmental programs. OIT serves as the focal point for developing, coordinating, implementing, and maintaining OIG information resources management systems and provides technical direction to OIG staff located across the nation in multiple offices

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
GS-14:
Determining overall technical design and structure of Internet services; monitoring functionality, security, and integrity of Internet services;
Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with the design and delivery of Internet services;
Experience in website management such as UI and UX principles including JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS, AJAX, usability, accessibility, typography, and information architecture;
Evaluating new Internet services and technologies; and
Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of Internet services.
