Duties
You will apply basic Human Resources (HR) regulations, rules and procedures to perform a wide variety of functions in support of recruitment and placement operations.
You will run standard queries or prepare simple queries to retrieve required information from databases.
You will perform limited technical assignments in supporting Human Resources Specialists within the Staffing Division.
You will prepare basic reports by extracting data and creating spreadsheets.
You will input and manipulate data, within the automated Human Resources System to ensure the accurate processing of personnel actions.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
Qualifications
GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing guidance on the use of automated personnel systems and applying Human Resources (HR) rules and procedures used in processing civilian personnel actions in support of HR recruitment programs.
GS-06: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing automated personnel systems in performing human resources clerical functions.
GS-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with performing human resources clerical functions.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-05:
Successfully completed 4 years above high school
or
Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent
