This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (l&A), Field Intelligence Directorate (FID).
This position is the Division Senior Intelligence Analyst (DSIA) assigned to FID in one of four geographic regions.
Duties
This position supports division-level analytic and production planning and mentoring of field staff on analysis. The incumbent will maintain expertise on one of I&A's four functional priorities-counterterrorism, cyber, nation-state, or trans-border threats; serve as the analytic integrator for a Nationwide Functional Team (NFT) focused on this topic; and completes substantive review of field-produced finished analysis on this topic.
The assignment involves problem definition and resolution, planning and coordination with numerous Federal (including DHS components) and State, Local, Tribal, Territorial and Private Sector (SLTTP) partners. The incumbent executes a wide range of relationship building and intelligence and information sharing, field-based analysis and production and supports collection and debriefing activities related to, and in support of homeland security activities.

Requirements
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) and is covered by the Department of Homeland Security Headquarters Drug-Free Workplace Program.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Overtime may be required in response to a significant event.
- Overnight Travel of 1-5 nights per month may be required
- Individual must sign a Mobility Agreement
Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service.
You must have one year of specialized experience that has provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
For this position, specialized experience is defined as supporting ongoing or emerging substantive intelligence collection and dissemination activities in any established specialty area. Such experience may include conducting a variety of complex assignments within his/her area of responsibility and conducting and directing in-depth research and analysis in support of homeland security. Additionally, such experience could be gained from:
Working with State and Local partners to create and information-sharing environment between them and the National Intelligence/Law Enforcement community.
Providing processes to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in terrorist operational tactics.
Education
Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
