Duties
You will serve as PERSONNEL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the PERSONAL SECURITY 1112, SECURITY 1110, INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT DIV 1100B, CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPT 1100, MARMC, Norfolk, Virginia.
You will develop, maintain and evaluate continuing operations and implementation of changes in policy and/or direction regarding personnel security.
You will interpret and define policy guidelines from higher level instructions and policies
You will formulate and recommends personnel security investigations requirements and advise on procedures for adverse security determination and employee rights.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TOP SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience developing, maintaining and evaluating the continuing operations and implementing changes in policy and/or direction regarding personnel security.
Experience interpreting and defining policy guidelines from higher level instructions and policies including developing and implementing specific guidelines, procedures, and systems to meet requirements for the MARMC personnel security program.
Experience advising higher level military officer, managers on personnel security policies and related matters and the impact of personnel security requirements in organizational missions
Experience formulating and recommending personnel security investigations requirements.
Experience representing the organization in personnel determinations and employee rights.
