You will serve as an IT PROJECT MANAGER (ENTARCH) in the COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will frequently brief senior leads, including SES and Military executives, and works with counterparts at FRCs, PMAs, FST, and other LogIT systems, including the Maritime PLM of N-PLM, DoD, and other branches, i.e., USAF PLM.
You will serve as the technical expert leader of a group of specialists responsible for a functional or program task.
You will apply project management processes and procedures, including project planning, cost estimation and analysis, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
You will effectively communicate complex technical requirements, both orally and in writing, across widely diverse organizational lines of authority and with varied groups of technical and nontechnical personnel.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 801 level INTERMEDIATE within 12 months of appointment.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process; 2) Understanding of NIST guidelines, especially NIST Special Publication 800-37, and implementing these guidelines effectively in security processes and controls; 3) Applying technical expertise in security technologies relevant to securing DOD systems. Understanding of technologies such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption methods, secure network architecture, etc.; 4) Collaborating with multiple organizations within the DOD or similar complex environments; 5) Identifying security risks, developing mitigation strategies, and solving complex security problems.
