Duties
As a Public Health Analyst (Extramural Resources) you will:
Exercise management responsibilities related to the initiation, administration, and/or close-out of grants, contracts, and/or cooperative agreements, including responsibility for monitoring performance for assigned programs.
Manage (or assists in the management of) contracts and/or grant/cooperative agreement pre-application agreement, award, administration, and/or close-out activities.
Assist staff by providing technical assistance to grant applicants/recipients regarding well-established grant assistance programs as needed.
Assist in reviewing evaluation results of research or CDC guidance to determine the effect on operations within the incumbent's program assignment.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, which must include the following experience: planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating public health programs or assisting in the management, administration and/or close-out activities of contracts and pre-award/post-award of grants/cooperative agreements relating to public health programs at governmental and nongovernmental organizations and/or international level.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. An official transcript will be required if you are selected.
