This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Facility Operations Division, Fire Electronics Branch. The incumbent serves as an Electronics Mechanic (Fire & Electronics), responsible for performing journey level Fire Protection System equipment installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.

Duties

Tour of Duty: Sunday through Friday 10:00 P.M. – 6:30 A.M.

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • You must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Your resume and question responses must demonstrate job-related elements.

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Performs electronics mechanic journey level work in fire protection systems equipment installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
