This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Planning and Project Management, Energy and Design Services Division, Electronics Engineering Branch, Electronics Operation and Maintenance Section. The selectee serves as Work Leader and is responsible for operation and maintenance of Legislative/Call Clock Systems (LCCS), Congressional Cable Television Systems (CCTS), Congressional Portable Audio/Sound Systems (C-PASS) and other electronic systems throughout the Capitol Hill Complex.
Duties
This position is essential: The employee is required to report to work during emergencies and inclement weather situations. Tour of duty may include holidays and weekends on a regular or recurring basis. Rotating shift work may also be required at supervisor's or management’s discretion.

Screen Out Factor: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision. This includes maintaining and repairing electronic equipment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications at the WL-12 level: Is able to guide others and independently align, install, maintain, operate, troubleshoot and repair multiple electronics systems and applies comprehensive knowledge of operations, capabilities and limitations of electronic equipment and systems as well as electronic theory and design.
