About the Position: The installation rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, and 150 miles north of San Antonio.

Duties

As the Administrative Services Program Manager develops implementing procedures to ensure an effective and efficient Installation Management Command (IMCOM) garrison management information program. Provides direction, control, supervision, and policy guidance related to assigned elements of the IM records management and publications and printing disciplines. Serves as a program manager for assigned IM program elements. Develops and manages short and long range planning for the garrison. Implements standards and criteria for uniformity and operational continuity of systems and the documentation requirements for on-going systems. Maintains knowledge of current developments and technologies, which may serve to improve management and administrative processes Ensures that the privacy of individuals is protected from unwarranted invasion by ensuring the collection and maintenance of recorded information. Oversees official mail and distribution for the installation.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A one year supervisory probationary period may be required.
  • Business travel is 10%.
