Duties

You will serve as the civilian continuity and master level expert tasked with oversight and tasking of the NSW Hard Target Team (N01X). You will ensure CNSWC and HHQ guidance and direction is transmitted to and implemented by NSW Ech III elements executing sensitive special operations in support of Joint Force key operational requirements. You will foster greater engagement, information sharing and collaboration between organizations to achieve NSW Task Force objectives. You will facilitate effective communications, gain valuable insights, and will influence NSW Task Force planning and execution. You will facilitate NSW personnel access to mission partners for analytical exchange, and/or operational coordination.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • A TOP SECRET level security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access is required. Failure to maintain the required level of clearance may result in removal.
  • This position is subject to random counterintelligence scope polygraph examinations.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Mastery of principles, practices and methods and techniques of identifying analyzing and implementing business initiatives across the Command and DoD; ability to promote and support the operational initiatives and program, and encourage participation in NSW business transformation efforts.
