About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation.
Duties
Coordinate all phases of pre-production planning, develops technical data packages, reviews work specifications, and provides technical coordination to Depot Field Teams.
Responsible for major end items, e.g., airframe, engine, or component systems and equipment.
Provide technical advice and assistance in support of the processing requirements in order to accomplish overhaul repair, and/or modification programs for rotary wing aircraft.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government driver's license.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid State driver’s license.
- Employee must undergo and pass pre-appointment physical examination.
- Special Conditions: Must be able to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Reviewing and applying technical specifications and requirements; 2) Analyzing equipment and forecasting spare parts requirements; AND 3) Reading and interpreting engineering change orders, equipment requisitions, shop orders, and work orders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

The specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have more than one year but less than the required education in B. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education in excess of the first year by 9. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
