About the Position: This position is located in the United States Army Operational Test Command (USAOTC), Fort Cavazos Texas and is responsible for providing Operations Officer functions. (merit)

Duties

Serves as an operations officer assigned to the Operations Division, Headquarters, Operational Test Command. Works under the supervision of the Division Chief, Operations Division, G3, USAOTC. Employee uses initiative and resourcefulness in developing and implementing solutions to problems unique in nature. Assists with the implementation of the crisis management program planning and execution in the event of other emergency situations. Responsible for the command Organizational Inspection Program (OIP) and Managers' Internal Control Program (MICP).

Requirements

  • Incumbent is required to travel TDY to 25% of the time.
  • This position is a “Mission-Critical Emergency Employee” for Continuity of Government Operations meaning that this incumbent may/can be required to report to CONUS related duty during an emergency at and offsite locations.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • This position may require a one year probationary period
