About the Position: This position serves as the principal Strategic Planning Officer in the Plans & Operations Division, Program Analysis and Integration Office .

Duties

Direct and manage top level, high visibility efforts involving strategic business planning, continuous improvement issues and/or program integration. Integrate planning efforts and develop the installation strategic plan. Coordinate research on continuous improvement issues across all installation functions. Ensure consistency between future goals, program efficiencies, status of accomplishments, process achievers, and costs balanced against mission priorities and efficiency. Represent the Garrison Commander's position and act as the Commander's agent in installation project prioritization meetings. Exercise a full range of supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• This position is supervisory as defined by the OPM General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
