Performs provides for a wide variety of administrative duties in support for the overall administration function of the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System Community Care Service.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Monitor and review past and present program resources use and forecasted requirements.
Report on program workload figures and production rates and determine the extent of deviation from established goals and requirements.
Perform a substantial range of functions within each software package.
Perform significantly complex research using different software applications.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 08/05/2024.
Proficiency Requirements: In addition to meeting experience or education requirements, applicants for these positions must show possession of the following skill:
40 words per minute typing speed.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.
You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Composes letters requesting information of services requesting information needed.
Provides customer service to include telephone calls & correspondence from internal and external customers.
Serve as primary timekeeping, attendance, and leave administrator for the service line.
Experience with Microsoft Office to include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements: Regular and recurring work is mostly sedentary involving sitting at a desk, although the position requires the ability to move from one geographic location of the facility to another. The incumbent works with a computer screen and keyboard. Some physical effort such as standing, walking, bending or prolonged sitting may be required. The incumbent may be exposed to walking to outlying areas. The work places no special physical demands on the employee.
