This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Senate Office Buildings, Garage Branch. Incumbent responsible for maintaining safety, security, assignment and usage of parking spaces, performing painting and cleaning tasks, routine maintenance on mobile cleaning equipment, automotive mechanical work and operating motorized cleaning vehicles in and around the SOB garage areas.

Duties

The tour of duty for this position is: Monday - Friday 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 2nd shift. 

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • You must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Your resume and question responses must demonstrate job-related elements.

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position.  Ability to perform work in maintenance trade occupations without more than normal supervision; specifically, garage maintenance, mechanical maintenance and painting.
