You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the COMMANDER TASK FORCE 82 NORVA 23551 of TASK FORCE 82.
Duties
You will maintain the COMSEC account program IAW COMSEC Materiel System (CMS) 1 (series) and other DoD and Navy directives.
You will provide keying materiel, guidance, and support Fleet requirements based on deployment schedules, types of operations and geographic areas of deployment.
You will maintain qualification and proficiency as a CMS Central Office of Record (COR) Auditor per CMS 3 (series). Schedule and conduct triennial audits on subordinate commands as required.
As Primary ACAM you will consult and advise the Director for C4I (N6) in the development, formulation, installation and management of all force and staff technical and administrative policy and systems related to CMS/KMI.
You will assist, as required, in managing the COMSUBLANT COMSEC account and in maintaining CMS support of CNO special projects.
As Staff Secure Telephone and Communications Security Equipment Manager, you will maintain and distribute Secure Telephone Equipment (STE), OMNI modems and secure Iridium devices to COMSUBLANT Staff as required for operational requirements.

- Must satisfactorily complete formal courses of instruction in Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and successfully meet the requirements of a Central Office of Record (COR) Auditor.
- Must meet the requirements to perform the duties and responsibilities as a Client Platform Administrator (CPA) or meet the requirements within 6 months upon designation as the Primary Alternate Communications Security (COMSEC) Account Manager (ACAM).
- This position has been designated as a Cyberspace Workforce position in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) work role of (COMSEC Manager) proficiency level (Intermediate) and, as a condition of employment.
- The incumbent of the position is required to obtain and maintain qualification in accordance with DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Management Program, February 15, 2023, and supporting Department of Navy policies.

Qualifications
To qualify for a GS-11 your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience communicating both orally and writing and the ability to work successfully with others.
Experience with security program planning involving the application of policy direction to specific operating requirements and developing guidance for applying security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods to various degrees or levels of security controls for the protection of property.
Experience through formal training for a Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Operating Account Manager (KOAM).
Experience managing COMSEC Material Systems (CMS).
Experience utilizing US Military Security policy and procedures in the safe guarding of classified information and physical material.
Must meet the requirements to perform the duties and responsibilities as a Client Platform Administrator (CPA) or meet the requirements within 6 months upon designation as a CPA.

Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
Successful completion of an LL.M., if related
