Duties

Assign workstations' on-the-job instruction to new employees; resolves intermediate work problem. Assign workstations' on-the-job instruction to new employees; resolves intermediate work problem. Will be required to answer trouble calls within area of responsibility. Required to keep simple records Inspect area during work operations and checks the progress of linen delivery and handling. Recommend personnel actions to supervisor based on knowledge of in­dividual performance and conduct of subordinates.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.

I am skilled in recommending performance requirements, promotions, reassignments, or other status changes of assigned personnel prior to initiation. I am skilled in explaining work requirements, methods, and procedures. I am skilled in instructing subordinates on new procedures. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
