This position is part of the Office of Management, Department of Energy (DOE) in the Sustainability Performance Office. The Sustainability Performance Office oversees Departmental sustainability efforts required under Executive Order, legislation, and related statutes. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be providing support staff in the overall development of concepts and strategies that will form the framework of strategic planning for the sustainability program.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
Supporting the development of policy, guidance, and tools for technical coordinators on activities including clean electricity, zero emission buildings, zero emission vehicles, or climate resilience.
Assisting in the planning and implementation of sustainability or climate resilience activities.
Using sustainability or climate resilience information management systems and other tools and methods to monitor organizational performance.
GS-14
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
Directing the development of policy, strategic plans, guidance, and tools for activities including clean electricity, zero emission buildings and zero emission vehicles, or climate resilience.
Leading multidisciplinary teams in planning and implementing sustainability or climate resilience activities to achieve organizational performance goals.
Using advanced data analytics to assess, identify and support improvements in sustainability or climate resilience program performance.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
