This position is at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) in the Office of External Affairs and Communications. As the Data Visualization and Web Admin Specialist, you will be responsible for designing websites and web content, producing monthly analytic reports,
developing data visualizations and providing guidance on web-related subjects.
Duties
As a Data Visualization and Web Admin Specialist, you will
Design web-based data products, displays and presentations, and software applications to conform to Section 508 standards.
Design the website to support the organization's strategies and goals relative to external communications.
Develop dashboarding, and other standard templates and displays that communicate complete financial and economic information.
Draft infographic displays to conceptually articulate requirements for project improvements.
Utilize data visualization platforms such as Plotly, R, Stata, Python, Google Charts, SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI, or other related platforms to further enhance the NCUA's presentation of economic and financial performance data on its websites and digital platforms.
Work closely with data providers to ensure consistency, timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of the data displayed on communications channels.
Requirements

- Suitable adjudication of background/security investigation is required.
- A probationary/trial period may be required.
- Applicants must complete an assessment battery (i.e., Assessment Questionnaire and USA Hire Assessment) via the USA Hire platform if notified to do so.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
All applicants applying for the CU-13 grade level must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-12 grade level obtained in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience: 1) maintaining the content of an organization's public website; 2) monitoring and reporting website analytics; 3) developing an organization's data platform; and 4) recommending data-driven solutions to stakeholders or management officials.
