This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), , in the Management Directorate (MGMT), Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM), Information Sharing and Reporting Branch (ISR).
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first-level supervisor over a team of international subject matter experts in the development of Departmental international biometric information sharing programs.
Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Duties
As a Supervisory Program Analyst (International Engagement), GS-0343-14, your typical work assignments may include:
Manages the development and documentation of both short and long-range planning efforts to ensure that Departmental, agency, and international partner needs and requirements a prioritized and achieved in a timely fashion.
Oversees all forward-facing international engagement, coordination, onboarding, and sustainment activities for International Biometric Information Sharing Programs.
Establishes and fosters effective work relationships with intelligence agencies, international partners, and stakeholders. The incumbent plans, organizes, and coordinates briefings and information exchange opportunities.
Formulates and recommends plans and strategies to improve program policies, practices, methods, and organizational structure.

Requirements

Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in Federal service or equivalent public/private sector experience. For this position, specialized experience is defined as:
Expert in information sharing programs and identity management for the agency, providing authoritative engagement with international and domestic stakeholders to implement biometric and biographic information sharing capabilities with new and existing international partners.
Oversees all forward-facing international engagement, coordination, onboarding, and sustainment activities for International Biometric Information Sharing Programs.
Supervises the development of policy guidance and standards for selection, acquisition, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of information technology for international programming.
