This position is part of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy - Headquarters, Department of Energy. As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will serve as a first-level supervisor, exercising technical and administrative supervision over staff that provides technical and administrative support to senior-level EERE office deputy directors and/or directors.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
Experience planning, directing, and evaluating the work activities and performance of subordinates.
Experience developing, implementing, and managing residential low-income renewable energy programs with enabling legislation (such as community solar) at the federal, state and/or local government level.
Experience advising and making recommendations on the effects of policy and regulatory frameworks for the purposes of enabling low-income renewable energy and community solar access.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
