This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business & Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as a staff specialist charged command-wide civilian human resource program/project assignments.
Duties
Incumbent works under closer than normal supervision at the journeyman level performing assignments designed to provide the competencies, skills, and experience required to perform the more complex work at the full performance grade level.
The work increases in difficulty, complexity, and responsibility as the incumbent gains experience and demonstrates a full comprehension of the target level position,AD506674, NH-0201-03.
Requirements

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Three years of progressively work experience with one year of that experience includes applying civilian basic human resources rules, regulations, and procedures to assist senior level HR Specialists; providing advisory services on staffing functions; performing preliminary research and analysis on routine human resources topics or processes; and utilizing civilian human resources automated tools to access, transmit, retrieve and manipulate data. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01/GS-04).

Education: Four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
