This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization, Management Services, People Services Directorate, HQ Administrative Services Group. The core focus of the Directorate's three groups is to support the FAA's strategic priority of empowering and innovating with the FAA workforce. The Group accomplishes this by integrating and aligning human capital resources by partnering with customers, stakeholders, training communities, Civil Rights, and Human Resource Management.
Duties
The Management and Program Analyst applies experience and detailed knowledge of analytical methods and techniques to collect and analyze data and information related to human resources management, position management, classification, recruitment and staffing, workforce planning, performance management, awards, and time and attendance. The Analyst performs a combination of routine, multiple and varying assignments to initiate personnel related actions under the general direction of a manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. This work supports the day-to-day operations and staffing levels of the Service Unit, and impacts customer program objectives.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- This Level 5 (Moderate Risk; Public Trust) position requires favorable adjudication of a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) background investigation prior to appointment, unless a waiver is obtained.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-F, FG/GS-9 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is defined as:-Experience researching policies and procedures to identify problems.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
