You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION MANAGER in the Public Works Department of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will develop plans (e.g., short-range plans, long-range plans, schedules, key events) to meet the Command mission, goals, and objectives.
You will update information systems to reflect maintenance actions and requirements.
You will advise supervisors or employees on the specific phases or operations of a project
You will develop training plans for junior level employees to support the needs of an organization.
You will conduct Performance Assessment (PA) inspections to verify compliance with drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
You will discuss issues with personnel to resolve production problems impeding workflow.
You will contact and talk with staff from multiple internal and outside departments to coordinate facilities maintenance actions.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing transportation operations, equipment maintenance, and production control to include budgeting and execution of maintenance, repair, and inspection; 2) Formulating long-range plans for organizational changes; 3) Managing the manpower and workload requirements to meet organization goals; and 4) Serving as technical advisor on emergency services and preventive maintenance issues and services.
