If selected this position provides administrative and technical services and support in the area of information and data management; learning management system administration; travel administration; fleet and property management for the Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS) program.
This position is remote with a geographical restriction to the National Capital Region.
Duties
The duties may include, but are not limited to:
Conducts studies and provides expert level analysis of processes, procedures, and administrative systems and advise management on effectiveness and efficiency, as well as improvement of operations.
Reviews, evaluates, drafts and advises management on standard operating procedures, administrative policies, requests topics such as travel administration, learning management system administration, fleet and property.
Provides logistical support to the staff in preparing for process improvements and other special meetings and events.
Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on committees and work groups evaluating, organizing and facilitating administrative initiatives.
Participates in the development and implementation governing the delivery of SharePoint portal based products; ensuring that content is current and accurate and appropriately cleared.
Identifies, secures, and maintains critical administrative documents.
Serves as the BRS lead for AgLearn training administration.
Serves as the BRS lead for fleet and property administration.
Serves as the BRS lead Federal Agency Travel Administrator (FATA) and works with ConcurGov travel system.
Requirements
- You must be a US Citizen or US National.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.
TIME-IN-GRADE: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
FOR THE GS-13 LEVEL: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-12 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors which demonstrates:
Interpret regulation and policy on administrative subjects and presents findings and recommendations to managers on how to improve efficiency and effectiveness of administrative functions.
Advise on emerging administrative issues related to travel, fleet and property to facilitate establishment of new policies or processes.
SharePoint Site Management and client-side customization of SharePoint sites.
Overall management and application of Travel System, providing travel guidance and consultative services, including overseeing government travel charge card program.
Developing and/or updating Standard Operating Procedures, templates, guidelines and/or instructional documents.
Note: There is no education substitution for this grade level.
